Sculptra
Sculptra is an FDA approved injectable that works with your body to gradually replace collagen that is lost with the natural aging process. Sculptra works to address the underlying cause of facial aging by stimulating the natural production of collagen. Collagen is the key ingredient in supporting healthy skin. The result is a more youthful and natural looking you. Your provider can tell you how many vials are right for you, but typically 1-2 vials are completed per treatment. Additional treatments can be completed after one month with results visible for up to two years.
Sculptra
With the natural aging process, we lose volume in our face and neck, and our skin becomes thin with more laxity and sagging. This is in part due to the rapid decrease of collagen production as we age. Sculptra is a prescription injectable collagen stimulator made of poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA). Sculptra is injected into areas to accelerate collagen production and restore lost volume. Sculptra triggers collagen production leaving you with rejuvenated skin and restores the skin’s underlying structure. Results are gradual and will be visible within 3-4 months with results lasting greater than two years.
Sculptra can help improve the appearance of deep creases and folds. The number of treatments varies. Sculptra is by the vial, and we usually suggest two vials per treatment, three treatments total, each 4-6 weeks a part for optimal results (6 vials).
You may experience bruising, redness, or swelling following your treatment. Make sure to schedule your treatments at least two weeks ahead of events if not longer. Some aftercare is required and will be discussed with you prior to and after treatments.”
